Drums being a physical instrument allows you to express yourself.

Having the experience of playing a wide variety of genres allows me to be flexible with my teaching styles and help you achieve your goals and aspirations.

I play Rock, Funk, Soul, Blues, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Fusion and Pop so I can also teach you some of your favourite songs you may want to play along to!

Methodology

I personalise lessons to suit your exact needs so that you reach your goals efficiently whilst always having fun. I have both acoustic and Roland Electronic high spec drum kits.

I teach all age groups and capabilities. I will assess your ability and structure your lessons to get you on your journey to becoming a great drummer and most importantly, a great musician. I document each lesson and create a structured schedule to help you stay focused in preparation for your next lesson. I have many legendary drum books which I implement into my lessons helping you to learn from the very best.

Your lesson starts when I begin teaching. Set up time is not part of your lesson time therefore, you get maximum tuition time.

I can also support you with learning to navigate and/or enhance your music production techniques on Logic Pro X to help you begin and/or enhance your music making.

With electronic and hybrid drumming evolving ever so fast, my knowledge of sampling pad instruments like the Roland SPD-SX allows me to implement these important skill sets into your lessons.

I can help you have fun learning your favourite songs as I have the ability to play a range of styles including: Rock, Funk, Soul, Blues, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Fusion and Pop.

I studied at the The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance and achieved a First Class Honours Degree on BMUS Popular Music Performance.

I am also a Rockschool registered drum tutor and teach all Rockschool syllabus drum grades.

How it all started

From the age of 5, I was inspired by my father to play on his drum kit at home and his office. At the age of 14, my passion and devotion to play the drums was the determinator for me to pursue my career to become a dynamic true professional versatile drummer songwriter and music producer. Vist here for more info. I welcome any challenge to perform live and undertake studio sessions. My knowledge of Logic production software and percussive sampling pad instruments enables me to compose, produce and play with flair and creativity. I have created and hosted my own unique Live Drumming Music Shows and I'm currently performing live with various artists, undertaking various recording sessions and playing with top musicians such as world class bassist Yolanda Charles and collaborated with top UK producers such as iLL BLU. As a result, I truly enjoy teaching all age groups to understand the art of music through learning to play drums ensuring they enjoy every moment.
