Our tutors assess students ability and structure lessons to get them on their journey to becoming a great drummer and most importantly, a great musician.  Our tutors document each lesson and create a structured schedule to help students stay focused in preparation for their next lesson.   We have many legendary drum books which tutors implement into lessons helping students to learn from the very best.

 

Tutors are full time drummers and music producers.

*  Foot technique (heel down/up)
*  Independence & coordination 
*  Groove building
*  Breaking down songs
*  Timing

*  Rudiments

*  Understanding drum notation & sight reading

*  Improvising in different styles

With electronic and hybrid drumming evolving ever so fast, our tutors knowledge of sampling pad instruments like the Roland SPD-SX enables tutors to implement these important skill sets into lessons.

​

Our tutors also help students have fun learning their favourite songs as tutors have the ability to play a range of styles including:  Rock, Funk, Soul, Blues, R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Fusion and Pop.

​

Our tutors studied at the The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance and achieved a First Class Honours Degree on BMUS Popular Music Performance.

​

Tutors are Rockschool registered drum tutors and teach all Rockschool and Trinity syllabus drum grades.
